Education Background – Dr. Victor Schacher
Dr. Victor Schacher graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.
At the University of Buffalo, he worked as a research assistant at the Burlington Orthodontic Research Center and taught human growth and development to graduate anthropology and orthodontic students. He collected growth data on patients at the Burlington Orthodontic Research Center in Burlington, ON.
Dr. Schacher graduated from the prestigious Eastman Dental Center, Rochester, NY.,with a Specialty Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Schacher is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics licensed to practice by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Orthodontic Department of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto
Educational Director of the Dental Residency Program for the Hamilton Civic Hospitals where he taught orthodontics and temporomandibular joint management in this program.
He currently a visiting professor at Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center, NY.
Dr. Schacher has been in the full time practice of orthodontics in Brantford, Hamilton and Simcoe. His practice is focused on early treatment of children, orthodontics for teens and adults and is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint/jaw problems.
And a member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontist.
For almost 20 years he was Educational Director of the Dental Residency Program for the Hamilton Civic Hospitals in Hamilton ON. He taught preventative and interceptive orthodontics and TMJ (temporomanidbular joint dysfunction) management in this program. Dr Schacher is a past president of the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry and the current president of The Brant County Dental Society
Currently, Dr. Schacher is a visiting professor at Eastman Dental Center, Rochester, NY., now part of the University of Rochester Medical School and still thought of as one of the top orthodontic training programs in the world.
